Head Coach: James Mackenzie

My name is James Mackenzie and for eight years, fitness was non-negotiable. It was a key part of my job as an Infantry Officer in the British Armed Forces. It was easy to stay in shape when my life was active and my time was my own. However, like many of you, my fitness journey took a sharp turn when I transitioned out of the forces. Suddenly, my physically demanding, outdoor lifestyle was replaced by a desk and long hours tied to a computer in the financial industry. On top of that, I found the love of my life, and my priorities shifted as we committed to building a family together. My activity levels plummeted, my training became unstructured, and the weight began to creep on. I hadn't intentionally let myself go; I had simply taken my eye off the ball amidst the demands of a new life stage

Have an Effective Strategy

This personal experience of struggling to balance career, family, and health is the genuine drive behind my work today. I see and hear the same story from countless people like you. They haven't lost the desire to be fit, just the effective strategy and support to get there. Now a 41-year-old father of two, I take immense pride in helping clients, especially those in their thirties and forties regain the control I once had to fight for. My core philosophy is that health and fitness shouldn't be a separate stage of life; it must fit within your existing lifestyle. Your health is a crucial priority that should be attended to now, not left until retirement. We work together to craft an active lifestyle that not only benefits you but allows you to lead by example for your children, demonstrating what a strong, healthy life looks like. My background has taught me the value of discipline, efficient planning, and execution, which is why we train in a time-efficient and evidence-based manner. My goal is simple: to educate, guide, and support you in setting yourself up for a strong, active future with sustainable lifestyle changes, not just short-term results.
